AFITNESSCONNECTION.COM, started over a year ago as just an idea of creating an online community for the health and fitness professionals, but along the process of developing the website, we started to realize that there were so many other aspects we needed to cover, and reasons why we needed to be different:

1) In a world saturated with social networks, how about a social network that doesn’t just find you friends, but beyond that finds you solutions? Something more specific and different than what was being provided by any other social network the world was in need of a one stop site, where you could search, find and connect to a health and fitness professional in a specific area.

2) The professionals wanted inexpensive, yet effective and creative solutions to promote their business, increase their income and enhance their expertise.

3) Millions Americans are daily in need or searching, for a personal trainer, physical therapist, physician and/or other health and fitness professionals, but where do they look? how do they know that professional is right for them? Currently, due to the lack of proper ways to find experts, word of mouth recommendations from someone you trust, close ones, its the most used resource. But did you know that there could be a professional in your area, that’s more of a personal and adequate match for you than the initial word of mouth referral? Keep in mind that what works for your friend or family member, might not be what works for you.
