Bio:

Garrone Yap “G” is a National Federation of Personal Trainers (NFPT) Advanced Fitness Trainer with over 10yrs experience and is a current NFPT Instructor for NFPT approved CEC’s (Contuning Education Courses) He is also CPR and AED certified. He carries a BA degree in Marketing and International Business from FIU. He believes it is also important to keep abreast of any advances or new developments in this ever-changing fitness profession. Taking accredited continuing education courses and reading journals such as The Physician and Sports Medicine, the Journal of Applied Physiology, the Journal of Sports Medicine, JAMA, and the Journal of the American Dietetic Association. On a personal level, he has also competed as an amateur in the NPC bodybuilding circuit winning 2005 greater Hollywood bodybuilding champion and 2nd runner up in 2005 light heavy weight in the south eastern USA Bodying Competition.

Fitness is a life long commitment and G continues to grow in knowledge and expertise as a fitness professional. "G" Delivers!!! *****

I started out with G over three years ago. Back then, my attitude toward exercise was very poor. The one thing that I think sets G aside from any other trainer is his commitment and persistence. He will push you to work hard every time and when you are feeling discouraged, he is there to motivate you and get you back on track. The results are amazing!
Because of G, i have learned to enjoy exercise and appreciate the benefits it has to offer. If you are looking for results...G delivers!

Good Trainer ***

G is a good trainer, I have been training with him for about 2 years, and I noticed the difference immediately after the first couple of sessions. G always pushes me to work beyond my limitations. I specifically enjoy the variation of the exercises and the kettle bell routines. G’s training sessions are always challenging and diverse, but the results are well worth it. With G I have learned the proper forms of various exercises, however, the most important thing that I learned is that hard work and dedication will yield the results that I want. It is really up to me to challenge myself and to live a healthy and active life.

Innovation - Results *****

I wasn’t looking for a trainer but both my husband and I really took notice of G and his style of training at the gym. His innovate way(s) of utilizing machines and combining moves really impressed us. After just one session with G you can just see his passion for the industry and attentiveness to the individual needs of his clients. He really pays attention to form and changes his routines to keep the client and the muscles “engaged” lol. I trained with him for a couple of years. I decided it was time for me to do it on my own and save the money. NOT THE SAME. I’ll see about getting “refresher courses” after the baby. All joking aside, if you are looking to get serious about your body and overall health, I highly recommend you invest your time and money on someone who is truly qualified and doesn’t just look the part. You will instantly notice the change.

G ALL THE WAY!! *****

I have been training with G for a couple of years. I love is style. Although sometimes I want to kill him, he keeps pushing me to do better. His work outs are a variety of everything and that keeps me motived. I highly recommend him for his professionalism and knowledge. He's GREAT!!

G DAWG!!! In da house. He's da shiznit!!! *****

I have been working out with G for about 2 weeks now & I already see changes in my body, especially my legs (which are my problem area). G is very creative with his workouts. I always say he has ideas coming out of every oriface of his body. I have trained with other personal trainers, but G is in a class all his own. My goal is to become more lean, toned & get into a bikini (for the 1st time ever in my life) for my upcoming trip to Hawaii, in June. I BELIEVE G will get me to that point. That's how much confidence I have in G's personal training. He is also a well rounded individual who is very intelligent & knowlegdeable about his profession, which is hard to find.
