Bio:Garrone Yap “G” is a National Federation of Personal Trainers (NFPT) Advanced Fitness Trainer with over 10yrs experience and is a current NFPT Instructor for NFPT approved CEC’s (Contuning Education Courses) He is also CPR and AED certified. He carries a BA degree in Marketing and International Business from FIU. He believes it is also important to keep abreast of any advances or new developments in this ever-changing fitness profession. Taking accredited continuing education courses and reading journals such as The Physician and Sports Medicine, the Journal of Applied Physiology, the Journal of Sports Medicine, JAMA, and the Journal of the American Dietetic Association. On a personal level, he has also competed as an amateur in the NPC bodybuilding circuit winning 2005 greater Hollywood bodybuilding champion and 2nd runner up in 2005 light heavy weight in the south eastern USA Bodying Competition.

Fitness is a life long commitment and G continues to grow in knowledge and expertise as a fitness professional. He believes that living a fit lifestyle tests one’s resolve, motivation and commitment to change. It incites the passion that lies within each of us to be the best that we can be, both physically and mentally! Failure in life is often due to two things: the ego and procrastination.
